Keira Knightley
Knightley born in London within the families with actors Will Knightley & Sharman Macdonald as young as six years old was the first actress to be employed by TV commercials and films. Knightley played Sabe in a minor part on the set of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1998). After becoming famous through the fantasy TV series Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003 in the role of Elizabeth Swann (a swashbuckling footballer) and was able to debut as a character in the sports movie Bend It Like Beckham in which she portrayed the teen. In 2003, she was a star in the romantic comedy Love Actually and was called promising teen. Knightley got her first Academy Award nod for Best Actress in 2005 for portraying Elizabeth Bennet, the heroine of the romantic historical novel Pride & Prejudice. Knightley acted in numerous other period films like Atonement (2007 which was a romantic love tale), The Duchess, (2008) as well as Anna Karenina, (2012). Also, she performed the role of a socialite, Georgiana for the role of Georgiana in The Duchess. In the contemporary dramas she played an uninitiated music student in Begin Again (2012) and an aspiring Doctor as a doctor in Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013). Knightley came back to historical films in The Imitation Game in 2014 and was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. In 2018, Knightley played the writer Colette.
