Anna Maria Chlumsky (born Anna Maria Chlumsky) is an American actress. She began acting as an infant and was first famous for her role as Vada Sultenfuss in the movie My Girl and its sequel My Girl 2. She took a hiatus from 1999 to 2005 in order to enroll in university. Anna Chlumsky was born on December 3, 1980, in Chicago Illinois to Nancy and Frank Chlumsky Jr. Her father was previously a flight attendant, and her mother was a chef by profession. Both parents are accomplished artists. The mother of the family is actor and singer, has a father, who plays saxophone. At the age of 10 months, a child, she modeled for Marshall Fields advertisements. The couple divorced when she was two after which the child was taken care of by a single mother. As a young girl, she was a model for Marshall Field's ads when she was 10 months. She was raised solely by her mother, following the dissolution of her parents at the time she reached the age of two.
